IAR: Overstock.com Drops Suit Against Claria

When Overstock.com told Claria (then Gator Corporation) to stop showing alternative offers to members of Clairia's ad network, Claria told the Internet retailer to take a long walk off a short pier. Now a judge has accepted Overstock's motion to dismiss its own lawsuit, creating the figurative splash. This one is really the product of ripples created in November when a federal district judge ruled in favor of WhenU in a similar case.
