Brazilian police arrested 10 people yesterday, accusing them of selling drugs using Google's Orkut social networking site, which is highly popular in the country, reports Reuters. The police investigation included monitoring the suspects' activities on the web, according to an officer at the Drugs Enforcement Service in Niteroi, across the bay from Rio de Janeiro. More than 3.5 million Brazilians - half of Orkut's members - have become devotees since Google launched it in January 2004.
