Digital marketing agency Organic has appointed Rick Corteville executive director of media, effective July 5. He will focus on helping clients more effectively tie their website and media initiatives together to create richer, more holistic brand experiences, Omnicom's Organic said. He will work with Chad Stoller, the recently announced executive director of emerging platforms, to help clients explore opportunities in mobile, social networking, online gaming, and other emerging technologies and trends in Organic's recently launched Experience Lab.
Corteville will be based in Organic's San Francisco office and will have responsibilities across all Organic offices, reporting to Quentin George, SVP and managing director of the San Francisco office. Corteville "has a very strategic mind, a broad understanding of digital branding, and excellent interdisciplinary marketing skills. More importantly, he has a strong consumer-centric focus that is at the core of what we do at Organic," Quentin said in a statement.
"The appointments of Rick and Chad demonstrate Organic's commitment to our brand promise of exceptional experience - across all digital media - to help our clients realize the highest return on their overall digital marketing investments," said Mark Kingdon, Organic's CEO.
Corteville most recently served as the VP and media account director at ZenithOptimedia, where he led interactive marketing initiatives for several Hewlett-Packard product divisions and grew the relationship from a media buying account to full-service media strategy client.
