Opera 9.5

The mobile ad industry gets a boost this week: Opera, a web browser compatible with mobile phones, announced its 9.5 upgrade.

The upgrade grants zoom, panning, and Flash support to all Opera mobile users.

Opera also accelerated the handling of web pages, even those coded with JavaScript and Ajax, according to Information Week. Further, Flash support allows users to access widgets on social networking sites like MySpace and Facebook.

The browser was included on over 100 million phones from manufacturers like HTC, Motorola, Nokia, Samsung, Sony Ericsson, and others.
