ClickZ: Video: The Future of Online Advertising?

Tessa Wegert asks in her ClickZ column whether or not video is the future of online advertising. She mentions two companies that are enabling this approach, either through video newsletters or on-page, banner style videos.

This is all well and good, but there is still too much talk about technology and not enough discussion on effective creative. Most consumers don't care in what form they see an ad, as long as it is entertaining, informative and relevant to their interests. The industry needs fewer cool "enabling technologies" and more actual human beings who are creative.
