Online sales stayed up - increasing 23 percent for the week ended June 19, compared with the corresponding week a year ago - reaching $1.34 billion from $1.09 billion, reports Internet Retailer, citing comScore figures. Online travel sales were up 22 percent, to $1.12 billion from the $923 million for the week a year ago.
Total retail sales for the week ending June 18 were up 8.71 percent from the same week a year ago - the 23rd weekly sales increase out of 24 weeks in 2005 - according to ShopperTrak's National Retail Sales Estimate.
