Internet Retailer: Online retail sales rise 12% for week ended July 25, comScore reports

comScore reports e-commerce growth of 12 percent for the week ending July 25 relative to the same period last year. This is an improvement from the largely flat spending seen in the two previous weeks. All sales, both online and offline were pegged at 11.5 percent growth by ShopperTrak, making the e-commerce figures seem not particularly rosy. Online travel sales rose 18 percent to $1.1 billion.
