Online sales were up only 5 percent for the week ending April 3 over the corresponding week a year ago, reaching $1.22 billion from $1.16 billion for the week in 2004, reports Internet Retailer, citing comScore figures. First quarter online retail sales totaled $19.1 billion, up 27 percent, from $15 billion a year ago. According to ShopperTrak's National Retail Sales Estimate, total retail sales for the week ending April 2 were up 1.8 percent from the same week a year ago.
