Online help-wanted ads decreased in November to some 1.8 million, a decline of 9.2 percent from October numbers, which in turn had fallen 1.7 percent from September's; November was also the first time since July that the number of ads fell below 2.0 million, writes MediaPost, citing a report by The Conference Board. However, according to the report, in the last three months, job ads in newspapers increased in six of nine U.S. regions; the largest increases were in the Mountain region (7.3 percent), East South Central (5.8 percent), and Mid-Atlantic (5.3 percent).
