Internet Retailer: Why used car buyers are using the Internet even more
For the first time ever, more people find their used car online than they do in the newspaper classifieds, according to a J.D. Power & Associates study. More than half of used car buyers use the internet to help search, up seven percent from 2003. Among those using the internet, a full 85 percent said it influenced the price they ultimately paid for their vehicle. Two thirds said that it affected which brand or model they chose.
