New Media Age: Online agencies blamed for poor creativity in ads
Come on folks, lets get a discussion going on this - it has got the potential to turn into a real bitch fight.
In this article a gang of offline ad/media agencies have basically stated that online advertising creative sucks because online agencies are too far up their own asses to produce anything that is of any partical use.
My take, for what it is worth, is that there is some truth in this. Far too often online agencies focus too much effort on design, forgeting that they are actually meant to be deliverying some marketing/advertising/branding/sales benefits.
