On Heels of Verizon and Conde Nast, Monster to Shut Down Social Network

Out of laughs?

Tickle, Monster.com's social networking quiz site, will shut down on June 30, reports Silicon Alley Insider.

Monster acquired the site, originally named Emode.com, in 2004.

The departure of Tickle follows the announced shut-downs of Verizon's social network — which closes June 16 — and Condé Nast's Flip, which conceded to defeat in January.
