Northwest Airlines' move to charge additional fees for customers not purchasing tickets over Northwest's website ignited what seems like a long-smoldering conflagration between the airline and Sabre, the computer travel reservation system provider. The companies are suing each other. Sabre, alleging contract violations, punished Northwest's attempt to make tickets it sold cheaper than those sold over Sabre by demoting Northwest's prominence and denying the company access to its system.
