Nielsen said yesterday that it has acquired BBC De Media en Reclame Bank, an advertising research company in the Netherlands that monitors the Dutch advertising market, including newspapers, magazines, direct mail, internet, television, radio and cinema, DM News reports. Its Adfinders database contains information on 145,000 advertisers and 300,000 products in more than 1,000 titles. BBC will remain in Amsterdam but will be rebranded Nielsen Media Research.
