News corp. has combined the ad sales operations of a number of its media outlets under one roof, reports AdAge.
The new multi-platform shop is called Fox One and will handle ad sales for News Corp's newspaper, TV, mobile and online properties. That includes the 20th Century Fox movie studio, MySpace, FX cable network, New York Post and a host of others.
Fox One's single entry point for advertisers will presumably give those advertisers a chance to view the cross-media capabilities News Corp. can offer for their campaigns.
The new unit will be run by Jean Rossi, currently serving as president of Fox Entertainment Group Integrated Sales, which will be replaced by Fox One.
