A newly launched ad network enables media buyers to reach out-of-home and web audiences, reports ClickZ.
AMPP Media allows publishers to run video on their sites either within the site or via an embedded player. Online content is pulled from a number of partner sites. Buying is being handled by DoubleClick, which was recently purchased by Google.
For out-of-home, AMPP has lined up a number of locations including cafes, airports and other high-traffic areas, including Tully's Coffee shops. The network is also planning a mobile offering that would also go through DoubleClick.
AMPP is working with Linden Labs on a deal that would have the firm serving "outdoor" ads within the virtual world of Second Life.
