Skin care brand Neutrogena has scored a product placement slot on the popular online video drama LonelyGirl15, reports Variety.
A 22-year-old scientist protagonist had already been created by the show's producers. But CAA, the talent agency that reps the show's talent and producers, approached Neutrogena about the opportunity to have that character become an employee of the company.
Neutrogena will not use the placement to push a specific product. Attracted to the show's teen and 20-something demographic, the company will promote the episodes in which its brand appears on the Neutrogena Website.
