NBC president Jeff Zucker appeared in the New York State Supreme Court last week to testify in NBC's dispute with The Weinstein Co. over hit show Project Runway, reports MediaBuyerPlanner.

The Weinstein Co. moved the program from Bravo to Lifetime. Zucker claims the move was made without honoring a verbal contract giving NBCU the right of first refusal to match any offer Weinstein received to move the show to a competing network, writes Mediaweek.

The show's sixth season will begin on its new network in November.
