NBC will offer the pilot episode of its Heroes on iTunes before the series begins airing at the end of September.

The full-length episode of NBC's adventure series Heroes will be available via iTunes starting Sept. 1, more than three weeks before its network premiere, reports MediaWeek. Moreover, trailers and behind-the-scenes footage of Heroes will also be available. NBC is also launching a nationwide promo in movie theaters, backed by Nissan, which will sponsor the Heroes pilot with limited commercial interruptions.
