National Geographic won the Best of Festival award for its web site design at the 2002 International Web Page Awards (IWPA). The not-for-profit also took two best-of-category awards, in graphic quality and education.
Web design firm Organic Online took five creative excellence awards in the competition. Client sites awarded were Chrysler, Dodge, Tommy Hilfiger, Bell GamesMania, and MONY Group. The best-of-category sites are chosen from the pool of sites given creative excellence awards.
