Napster has filed a complaint with the Securities and Exchange Commission against Apple's DRM, claiming the service cannot sell most of its library to iPod and iPhone users, reports Listening Post.
Filed last month, the complaint stems from the assertion that Apple's current music-playing devices only support one form of DRM: Apple's FairPlay.
Napster stated, "If we cannot successfully design our service to interoperate with the music playback devices that our customers own […] our business will be harmed (via InformationWeek)."
Apple is currently also the target of a class-action antitrust lawsuit filed by iTunes user Melanie Tucker.
