MySpace Improves Creative Controls for Brand Profiles


A place for brands,
not just image mongers

MySpace is expanding functionalities for managing brand profiles on its network, reports Advertising Age.

The enhanced toolset enables users to upload creative assets, then change and manage them on their own. Previously, MySpace creative team members had to assist marketers with this process.

By making design and management tools easier to use, MySpace hopes to become more essential to marketers lovestruck by Facebook. MySpace does not charge for brand profiles, but it does make money on in-network ads that point users to them.

MySpace will also give provide marketer functionalities not available to standard users, including the ability to add YouTube videos and Flickr images with ease. So far, Deep Focus is the sole beta partner for the new functionalities, Adrants reports.
