MSN Kills Pop-up Offerings in U.K.

NewMediaZero: MSN UK to drop interruptive ad formats

MSN continued its roll-out of its policy to stop pop-up offerings on its MSN service. Having stopped the continued sale of pop-ups in the U.S. last year, they will now be banned in the U.K. and through much of Northern Europe. AOL stopped the ad format in the U.S. last year, but continues to sell and serve pop-ups in Europe.
