BigBlueBall: BigBlueBall News: Video Ads Launch In MSN Messenger
The DVD release of "Love Actually," a film starring Hugh Grant and Kiera Knightly, will be one of the first video ads delivered through MSN Messenger using Flashtalking technology. MSN and Flashtalking have been working together since September and have delivered video ads on the MSN and Hotmail websites. This is the first time, along with Xbox, that video ads have been shown to Messenger users. This follows AOL IM's implementation of video ads in its IM service a few months ago.
