Pandia reports that MSN is first among the major search engines to allow special operators - including "feed:" - that lets users search RSS and Atom feeds. One can type feed:marketingvox into the MSN search box to find this site's search engine news feed. Another new operator lets search for documents that contain feeds - the "hasfeed:" operator. In addition, MSN's "site:" operator allows restricting searches to specific folders two levels deep into a site: for example, site:www.apple.com/ipod.
