Microsoft has released a preview of the new Editorial Exceptions functionality, which will enable users to manage disapprovals more easily and grease the skids to launch campaigns without delay.
"We heard it loud and clear…managing disapprovals to get campaigns live in adCenter is too time consuming," wrote the company on its adCenter blog. With Exceptions, users can:
- Request exceptions to resolve editorial disapprovals through proactive and reactive controls.
- Monitor the progress of ad and keyword delivery through simple steps.
- Easily filter your editorial disapprovals and submit a request for Exception within your online account.
Microsoft began piloting the feature in June and will extend the preview to include more advertisers. It also invites feedback and discussion as we take the next steps toward releasing this feature to the public.
Last week the company released a look into its Editorial Review process, with some hints as to avoiding delays from its automated editorial review. (Hints: bad spelling and grammar, dead URLs and a website without a privacy policy will all clog the pipes.)
