McCann Worldgroup's direct and interactive agencies, which had been integrated into MRM Partners over the past year, have rebranded as MRM Worldwide, which encompasses the previous Zentropy Partners, Miller Starr and the MRM Partners agency, reports ClickZ. "Direct marketing, or customer relationship marketing, in the 21st century is digital, or at least going that way pretty rapidly…the global 500 companies are more and more leveraging the digital capabilities," MRM Worldwide CEO Reuben Hendell is quoted as saying.
MRM has apparently hired hundreds of people with interactive experience and let go of those without such experience. It has around 2,000 employees in 65 offices in 35 countries. Key clients include General Motors, Microsoft, Intel, MasterCard and UPS.
