CNN reports that downloads of Mozilla's Firefox browser on Friday passed the 50 million mark. With its first full-fledged release last November, Firefox has stirred up the Web browser market, and the share of Microsoft's Internet Explorer has inched downward as Firefox adoption has risen. Much of the interest in Firefox has been driven by the discovery of security holes in Internet Explorer. However, Firefox too was recentlyshown to have several security flaws.
