Four movie studios - Warner Bros., Dreamworks, Lionsgate and Universal - are incorporating the tagline of AOL's Moviefone.com into posters for their current releases.
Warner's Ocean's 13, Dreamworks' Shrek The Third, Lionsgate's Saw III and Universal's Evan Almighty will feature Moviefone's "What's your movie mood?" on posters for the movies, MediaPost reports. Attik is the agency behind the campaign.
"The idea for the MovieMood campaign came from the insight that we all experience, going to the theater or video store and asking ourselves what we're in the mood for," said Wayne Hanson, creative director, Attik. "The campaign plays on the power of movies to influence your mood and easily spans cinema, print and Web."
Other recent cross-promotions with studios include Paramount's inclusion of Moviefone-produced content in its new DVD releases. The Mission Impossible III DVD featured Moviefone.com's "Unscripted," in which Tom Cruise and director J.J. Abrams interviewed each other.
