The window of opportunity to catch wireless users interested in mobile music services may be closing soon, according to In-Stat analyst David Chamberlain: Those users are ready to buy new handsets and they're willing to pay extra for handsets that play music, and carriers without music services could end up missing a lucrative market, reports Mediapost (via MediaBuyerPlanner).

But widespread adoption of music applications could be slowed until issues such as pricing, revenue sharing, and digital rights management can be solved.
