Mobile Billboards Show Full-Motion Ads

A new mobile video billboard offering a "360-degree" view has been let loose on several cities by Alt Terrain LLC.

The billboard is a self-contained unit delivering full-motion video advertising content (such as 30-second TV commercials, movie trailers, videogame previews, or other branded videos clips) to consumers in metro markets such as New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston and San Francisco, according to the company, writes Adrants (via MediaBuyerPlanner).

The patent-pending 360 degree Mobile Video Billboard unit can be attached to various types of cars, trucks and SUVs, and delivers video visible on four sides of the vehicle.

Campaigns using the Mobile Video Billboard can be enhanced by street team sampling, wrapping the vehicle, custom screen shapes and/or broadcasting audio to FM tuners within a 150-foot radius, the company says.
