Quite literally 'crackberry'?
Sprint is launching the SprintSpeed Blog Experiment, during which it will strip seven of its employees of their cellphones or Blackberries for a week and ask them to blog about the experience.
According to Kapica's Cyberia, the experiment includes a cross-section of mobile users, from a working mother who checks email on her Blackberry 75 to 100 times a day, to a young woman who is always on her cell: playing games, talking with friends, and listening to music.
A recent study proclaimed email a legitimate addiction at work, and AOL just finished its third annual report, which revealed 43 percent of users take their Blackberries to bed with them.
Overchecking email can now be sated with a 12-step program called the E-Mail E-diction Detox, courtesy of Marsha Egan, a Pennsylvania-based productivity expert.
