Microsoft's Vista Extends Hand to Mozilla's Firefox

Microsoft is reaching out to Mozilla to help ensure Firefox works with the upcoming Vista operating system.

Microsoft's open source software lab director, Sam Ramji, apparently posted an open invitation on a Mozilla development discussion group on Monday, reports Silicon.com, quoting him as writing that Microsoft is "committed to evolving our thinking beyond commercial companies to include open source projects" in the Vista project. Mozilla Europe has said it is "too early to comment" on the offer.
