Signaling that Microsoft is intent on putting a dent in Google's dominance of online advertising, it has created a global sales and appointed as its head Joanne Bradford, MSN.com's VP of chief media revenue officer, reports AdAge. She will remain at MSN.com but her position will be companywide. Bradford will oversee global sales for MSN, the recently launched Windows Live and Office Live products, Xbox and Xbox Live, and Microsoft's emerging IPTV and mobile platforms, writes MediaWeek.
