Zune Launches Custom Player for Reggaeton Fans

While Apple dedicates specialty iPods to U2, Microsoft's Zune shoots for the Latin market with a customized Zune for reggaeton act Wisin & Yadel.

The limited edition Wisen & Yadel Zune will hit Wal-Mart stores nationwide Oct. 29, according to Reuters, and will feature a new album by the duo, as well as videos, photos and custom packaging.

Geared toward the "acculturated Latino in the US," the reggaeton duo was also chosen for successful sales of 1 million mobile and digital tracks combined.

Microsoft hopes not merely to sell Zunes but subscriptions to its music store, Zune Marketplace.
