Google Analytics

Microsoft is testing a keyword and website analytics tool - code-named "Gatineau" - to compete with Google's free offering, Google Analytics, reports MediaPost.
The technology will be based on that of the Gatineau, Canada-based DeepMetrix Corporation, which Microsoft acquired last year. Microsoft is expected to launch an invite-only beta to test the tool in the coming months.
Microsoft will add users gradually, to avoid system instabilty - something that initially plagued Google Analytics, which was unprepared for the influx of users when it launched in October 2005.
