Microsoft Corp is developing new programs and services for mobile phones, as well as an "online bazaar" for software, reports Reuters.

The bazaar will be tailored to users with phones running Microsoft's Windows Mobile OS, according to the Wall Street Journal, which sourced people familiar with the matter.

The company launched its first-ever online store for US users in November 2008. Prior to its Stateside launch, it was available to residents in the United Kingdom, Germany and Korea.
