Micropayments to Triple

Internet Retailer: Internet micropayments to more than triple within 6 years, study says

Micropayment purchases through companies like eBay's PayPal, Qpass and PaymentOne will more than triple by 2010, according to TowerGroup. Borne on the wave of music and other content purchases, micropayments are set to rise to $6.7 billion from last year's $1.9 billion. TowerGroup predicts payments of $2.8 billion fro 2004.
