Mercedes-Benz Builds Multimedia 'Brand World' Online

DaimlerChrysler's Mercedez-Benz is building a multimedia online brand experience - "brand world" - for visitors to its international site, but it's from the site's product pages, reports ClickZ. The discrete sections are intended for different audiences: those who want practical information, and those who want an audiovisual experience - including a virtual tour of the new Mercedes-Benz Museum in Stuttgart, for example.

The new site is designed by German agency Scholz & Volkmer and offers content in German and English. Users can view a multimedia presentation on new automotive technology and download music podcasts or periodically updated mixes of 15 free songs from independent artists from various genres.
