Medio Expands Mobile Network Overseas


Medio Systems unrolled a mobile ad network to marketers in the UK and the rest of Europe, reports ClickZ.

The company will introduce its PPC and display ad offerings to European advertisers, as well as a new mobile search product that will hit the US market in 2008.

To reach consumers in the new market, Medio is partnering with a number of carriers there.

Medio is looking to expand its publisher and partner offerings into the UK, which has higher cost per click prices than the US, in part because of the higher click rate by British users. The firm hopes mobile operators will find a customized approach more attractive than offerings from Google or Yahoo.
