MediaSpan, a provider of digital content management, online marketing, web publishing, e-commerce and online promotional solutions, announced that it has merged its two online media divisions into a single business unit, MediaSpan Online Services, reports MediaBuyerPlanner. The consolidation will drive the development of a stronger suite of services for the company's base of thousands of local radio, newspaper, television and magazine customers, according to the announcement.
The company's first MediaWorks and Baseview BITS product lines will be developed and delivered under the MediaSpan Online Services banner. As part of the re-launch, the company recently introduced several new products, including podcasting and Fan Frenzy interactive sports games.
