Interactive agency R/GA has added media buying to its slate of client offerings, reports MediaPost.
The move comes with the hiring of Joy Lin as media director, a new position in the firm. Adding media buying allows it to gain that much more client work, work that previously would have gone to a third-party buyer. R/GA will now be able to not only produce creative but help clients execute integrated marketing plans. The agency says buying has been a client request for some time.
Lin comes to R/GA from Agency.com. She will be handling media planning and buying duties and working on publisher partnerships.
