Meckler Blog: eMARKETER Legal Update
JupiterResearch CEO Alan Meckler wrote on his blog that he had expanded the suit he lodged against eMarketer for allegedly appropriating research information as its own. He said legal action had also been brought in England and in France. He also said that eMarketer often misrepresented JupiterResearch opinions, although he did not say under what legal basis this would be cause for a civil suit. Meckler said he considered it "likely" that other research companies may follow his lead in bringing action against eMarketer.
