Chairman and CEO of Marriott International Bill Marriott is already getting positive results from a blog he launched last month.
According to Three Minds, the blog encapsulates what blogging is all about - and what it can ultimately can do for a brand by telling stories, listening and learning from customers, and putting a face to the brand.
Marriott's first post, "Uncharted Territory," received over 80 comments. A CEO getting on in years, Marriott writes in his first post how his blog got started and how he hadn't the faintest idea what a blog was just a year ago.
Marriott sums up the new effort: "This blog allows us to hear from you and build on the community that we've nurtured for 80 years."
