NYT: MarketWatch, Web News Site, Is Up for Sale

After beating its chest about its nearly tripled profits for the third quarter, CBS MarketWatch is reportedly taking advantage of its momentum by hiring UBS to find a buyer for the financial web publisher. They reportedly are looking for $400 million, about 15 percent more than their market capitalization as of yesterday's market close. CBS, Dow Jones, The New York Times, Financial Times and Yahoo are all reported to be considering bids.
