AT&T, Verizon Top Display Advertisers
Network providers AT&T Inc. (94 billion ad impressions) and Verizon (66.7 billion impressions) ranked as the top US online display advertisers in terms of total ad impressions served between January 2010 and December 2010, according to a white paper [pdf] from comScore called "The 2010 US Digital Year in Review."
Fellow carrier Sprint also made it into the top ten with 30.2 billion impressions, ranking eighth. Online trading company Scottrade ranked #3 with 59 billion impressions, while Experian Interactive secured the number four position with nearly 54 billion views, and eBay rounded out the top five with 36.8 billion impressions.
Latinos Lag Whites in tech use
Latinos are less likely than whites to access the internet, have a home broadband connection or own a cell phone, according to survey findings from the Pew Hispanic Center, a project of the Pew Research Center. Latinos lag behind blacks in home broadband access but have similar rates of internet and cell phone use.
