Yelp: serving a tight crew
of nightlife epicures
Online ad firm and local content publisher Marchex has closed partnerships with a number of niche location-based content sites, including Yelp, Frommer's, Priceline and Avvo.
The relationships add over five million user reviews and ratings to the engorged Marchex network, bringing its total to eight million nationwide.
Content will be integrated into the Marchex local network, which serves 26 million unique visitors.
A breakdown of other content additions follows hence:
- lilaguide.com: User-generated reviews on baby gear, daycare, baby-friendly shopping and restaurants.
- Restaurant.com: An online dining review site with a gift certificate program.
- Gusto.com and Urbanspoon.com: Restaurant and travel sites.
