Revolution: Google and Multimap join to deliver targeted online ads

British mapping firm Multimap.com is providing localized inventory for Google ads, targeting visitors to major U.K. cities. An executive said that if the experiment goes well, it will try to further drill down into smaller areas and even try to offer an advertising platform for local offers, such as take-out menus.
