Internet Retailer: Product researchers are quick buyers, survey says

A third of people who start their search for a product on a manufacturer's website actually make a purchase within a week, according to a Channel Intelligence study of 39,000 consumers. Of those purchasers, two thirds bought from a third party online retailer, a quarter bought from a bricks and mortar store and fewer than one in ten bought from the manufacturer's site.
