Large retailers have typically had difficulty expanding their markets to ages much lower than the blue hair set, especially since store locations often require driving and tend to not have the same level of accessibility to and from malls. Macy's hopes to capture the younger segment online, offering content from Teen Vogue, music from Universal, sundry promotions and, of course, shopping.
